Blogging has become very passé to me. I’ve found that I have two options; toil in relative blogosphere obscurity or – labor to change hundreds of friends’ minds on my Facebook site… I choose Facebook. FB also has the advantage of keeping out the tedious liberal trolls of the world.

Drop me a note and I’ll send you a link to my FB site. Farewell.

Blowin’ Smoke

This is disappointing. I was kinda hoping that nutty pastor was going to burn the Korans. I brought kosher marshmallows, NY style cheesecake and the First Amendment. Really, aren’t radical Islamists already wound pretty tight about a multitude of perceived western vices? Should we really care if these guys get their suicide vests in a twist over the actions of a looney preacher who looks like an extra from “Gunsmoke”?

He’s Not My Mistake

Obama’s fall was completely predictable if you were pay attention during the campaign, “The stunning decline of Barack Obama: 10 key reasons why the Obama presidency is in meltdown” – UK Telegraph

The left has collapsed. Its political support has collapsed. Public opinion polls point to a historic repudiation of the president and the Democratic party this fall—something on the order of a 60-seat Republican gain in the House. The GOP has an outside shot at taking the Senate as well.” – William Kristol, The Weekly Standard

Update 090610: In the last few days the Democrats have become quite apoplectic over their electoral fate. I have been ever so entertained by their attempts to distance themselves from Obamacare, immigration, the debt and a multitude of other stupid decisions they made.

The Democrats have ignored the will of the people far too long so we will try to remove each and every damn one of them. Judging by the dramatic polling, there isn’t a damn thing the Democrats can do to stop us. Their fate is sealed. We are taking it back and it will be epic.

North Korea is threatening to use nukes on us, near us or over there somewhere if we go through with a planned naval exercise. We all know that we won’t do a damn thing which is kinda disappointing. Team Obama will back down and sweep this under Joe Biden’s hair plugs.

If North Korea wants to gangsta up, act all big and bad the least we should do is knuckle up and play along, even if it’s for funsies. Besides, Hillary looks really bored and some toe to toe might cheer her up.

I wanted so badly to dislike “Inception” because of the cast of useless leftist idiots (Leonardo DiCaprio, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Ellen Page) but Christopher Nolan has created a masterpiece. Make no mistake, the film is intelligent, fascinating and thought provoking. The score by Hans Zimmer is outstanding.

I should explain my disgust with goofball DiCaprio and company. They turned a movie press junket into an opportunity to bash those believe – “differently” politically. They have every right to their opinion but I thought in was disrespectful to director Nolan. Movie audiences are hard to come by these days and ticking off a majority of the country is no way to drum up ticket sales.

“Inception” is a very smart, entertaining puzzle of a movie. Be patient, the beginning gets a little confusing but all is revealed. It easily overcomes the leftist cast.
